Maintenance outage planned for Bruni Substation

December 17, 2013

A maintenance outage is planned for 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Thursday at the Bruni Substation so that AEP Texas can place a repaired transformer back in service. Currently, electric load is being served in the Bruni area by a mobile substation that was temporarily placed in service Nov. 27 after the substation transformer failed.

The planned outage will affect some 1,000 electric consumers served by AEP Texas in the Bruni, Mirando and Oilton area.

AEP Texas realizes that electric consumers were greatly inconvenienced from the previous outage and is making these repairs to improve electric reliability. We want to thank impacted electric consumers in advance for their patience during this two-hour outage. For more information, call toll free, 866-223-8508.
