2026 RFPs
I&M has issued Requests for Proposals ("2026 RFPs") which seeks to secure up to 4,000 MW of generation resources to support I&M's capacity and energy needs in response to new load growth. Under the RFPs, I&M seeks a diverse portfolio of resources to support the timing and energy and capacity characteristics associated with near term load expectations.
To bring these resources online in a timely manner, I&M has retained Charles River Associates (“CRAâ€) to serve as an independent monitor to assist in the 2026 RFP process. This role will include stakeholder coordination, eligibility and threshold review of the proposals, and proposal evaluation support.

Rockport Natural Gas Project RFP
American Electric Power Service Corporation, as agent for Indiana Michigan Power Company, is soliciting proposals from bidders to construct, operate and maintain a natural gas pipeline lateral and associated natural gas facilities to the Rockport Natural Gas Project located in Rockport, Indiana. These Gas Facilities will be utilized to supply the Plant with natural gas as the primary fuel source. The Company is also seeking offers of mainline firm transportation capacity.
