As we continue to see dangerous heat index values across our service area, Indiana Michigan Power (I&M) is extending its suspension of disconnecting residential customers’ power for nonpayment through the weekend.
I&M wants to keep their customers and employees safe during these hot temperatures and having safe and reliable power is key to ensuring that happens. The company will continue to monitor weather conditions in the days ahead and extend the moratorium on disconnects as needed.
