Join Charge Sync Rewards

Save on your home electric vehicle (EV) charging - earn up to $96 a year just by charging at the right time.

Who’s Eligible:

  • Residential customers with an EV and a level 2 charger.
  • Not enrolled in Net Metering Service Rider or Excess Distributed Generation Rider.

How Charge Sync works

  • Charge your home electric vehicle (EV) between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. (local time) to earn an $8.00 credit each month (that’s $96 per year).
  • Standard residential tariff rates apply for all household usage, including EV charging.
  • Not charging or charging more than two times during non-designated times in a month will forfeit that month’s credit.
  • Forfeiting credits more than three times in a 12-month period may remove you from the program.

You can only be enrolled in one EV program at a time. Customers enrolled in Tariff RS PEV can leave that tariff and enroll in the new program at no cost.

No. The program is completely free for EV drivers. It’s also risk‑free—you can unenroll at any time.

When signing up, you will be prompted to log into your electric vehicle (EV) or home-charging station account. This creates a secure connection that allows WeaveGrid to receive data on when, how much, and where your EV is charging.

This charging data is shared with I&M solely for the purpose of providing program benefits.Your EV and personal data are not shared with third parties.

Once you connect your vehicle or charger account during enrollment, your device securely communicates charging information—such as session start times, duration, and energy use—to WeaveGrid.

Our program provider, WeaveGrid, has direct contracts with the manufacturers on this list authorizing the devices’ participation in our program. This gives everyone more data security. We’re always working to expand the list. If you’re not eligible during enrollment, you’ll be given the opportunity to join the waitlist.

No. Either your EV or your charger need to be on the list. Not both.

Level 1 chargers may not charge your vehicle completely during the designated charging window, requiring charging outside of the program times.
