Ashley Savieo

Director of Economic and Business Development

Ashley Savieo brings years of industry experience and established community relationships to I&M’s Director of Economic and Business Development role. Previously, she served as the Director of Economic and Business Development in AEP’s eastern region, covering I&M, AEP Ohio and APCo. During this time, her team experienced significant expansion from existing customers within the region, while bringing organizations such as Nucor (WV), Intel (Ohio), GM Samsung and CANPACK (IN), into AEP’s territory.

Additionally, Ashley’s strategic leadership with the AEP Ohio team helped solidify the process for servicing data centers, drawing attention from Google, AWS and Microsoft as they pursued further development in Indiana, specifically the South Bend and Fort Wayne areas.

Ashley earned her bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and completed her graduate degree from IU Fort Wayne. She also has a certification as a Certified Economic Development Professional (CEcD).
