Protecting your family from the flu can start with one simple step: getting vaccinated.
We are proud to continue our support of Super Shot and its annual "Be a Flu Fighter" campaign, helping make flu vaccines easy, accessible and convenient for families in northeast Indiana.
Every year, thousands of people miss work, school and time with loved ones because of the flu. Community vaccination events like Be a Flu Fighter help remove barriers to preventive healthcare and encourage families to get vaccinated before flu season peaks.
Since 1993, Super Shot has worked to improve access to vaccines throughout northeast Indiana, helping families receive important immunizations close to home.

“What we saw was really community collaboration. We had it from the Indiana Michigan Power Foundation. We couldn’t have done this without their investment in our community’s health,” said Connie Heflin, executive director of Super Shot. “It’s very important everyone six months and older get a flu shot. It protects the young, the old and those that are pregnant or immuno-compromised.
Supporting community health is one of the many ways we help strengthen the communities we serve.
“We’re so proud to support Super Shot. We’ve been partnering with them for many years now,” said Katie Runkle, vice president of External Affairs and Customer Experience. “It’s our fundamental responsibility to support our communities. Healthy communities equal strong communities, and strong communities build successful communities.”
