Cook Engineer Named to 40 Under 40

A nuclear engineering supervisor at Cook Plant has been honored as a young professional having a positive impact in the Southwest Michigan community.


Terry Groth was named to Moody on the Market’s 40 under 40, a prestigious recognition program reserved exclusively for professionals under the age of 40.

“I want my community to thrive and be a great place to live,” Groth wrote when asked by 40 Under 40 what motivates him to give back to the. Plus, “the memory of my grandmother and her decades of volunteer work in our community as 4-H leader and other community service activities.”

His favorite volunteer activity is “helping the Young Professionals of Greater Dowagiac with the various community events with my favorites being the annual Daddy/Daughter Dance and Mother/Son events.”

Groth, a four-year AEP veteran, serves on the Dowagiac Union Schools Board of Education as well as the Southwestern Michigan College Foundation board. He is also Treasurer of Young Professionals of Greater Dowagiac.
