I&M Snack Drive to Help Organization Serve Clients

May 7, 2024

We care about the communities and residents in the neighborhoods we live and work. Our team has demonstrated compassion and teamwork through service projects in the past, and this opportunity was no exception. In the month of April, members of our Fort Wayne team collected snack items to benefit the YWCA of Northeast Indiana. The items they collected will be used in guests’ welcome bags at the YWCA’s new facility, which opens at the end of May.

Staff at the Ardmore, Spy Run and Northeast service centers, as well as Baer Field and the Indiana Michigan Power Center brought in drinks and other small snack items to fill bags benefiting women and their children who will stay at the YWCA. With the amount collected, these items will benefit over 100 future clients.

For 125 years, the YWCA of Northeast Indiana has served the community through its dedication to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. By actively working to transform lives, they create positive change, stability and new opportunities for clients, their families and the community.
